#1 Way to Identify your True Beauty

In order to love God or others, we need to FIRST love ourselves by seeing ourselves as FEARFULLY, WONDERFULLY and BEAUTIFULLY made!!!!  We are made PERFECT in Gods image!

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:14

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27

People look at outer appearance, but God looks at the heart - 1 Samuel 16:7

What is beauty?

VIDEO – “dove evolution” what we see or what it seems is NOT what it really is

Social media, magazines, tv shows, are all dictating to us what we should look like – IT’S ALL A LIE.... we talked about the father of lies..the enemy...and how we should guard our minds last week.

God formed us all uniquely- The outer appetence is a reflection of our uniqueness, let’s not try to make it something that we are not.  Psalm 139

Before God created you, He knew you – everything about you. He knew what you would look like and what you would be like – and He was proud of the creation He created- which is YOU.

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5

Because people have a low self-esteem – they can see themselves as ugly, or worthless, that’s why they try to make themselves feel better by putting us down.

Beauty is NOT how others define us! Lets not give others the benefit of dictating how we see ourselves!!!

BEAUTY IS NOT the outer appearance of what we wear BUT who we are on the INSIDE... It's not about the brand of clothes we wear not the number on the scale. Beauty is all about how we treat others. Beauty is our attitude and the strength to control our temper when someone steps on our toes...this can be literally or perhaps someone makes us mad...how we we react?

Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, 10 but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works. 1 Timothy 2:9-10
